Reptiles are fun; fine print is not!  Whether you are new to the hobby or a seasoned veteran, my goal is to make your experience with Mystique Reptiles a great one.  I have outlined Mystique Reptiles terms and conditions below, but please do not hesitate to contact me directly.

My Guarantee

​​All of the animals I sell are guaranteed to be healthy, parasite and disease free, the correct gender, the stated genetics, and feeding at the time of sale (unless otherwise discussed).  Please note that Ball Pythons can be picky eaters.  You may view any of my animal's feeding history at iHerp.

Lifetime Support

I will provide lifetime support to all of my clients, and the animals I sell.  Since I cannot control the condition of a live animal after it leaves my facility, I will offer a refund up to 24 hours following your purchase if it does not meet my guarantee above.  For animals that are shipped, all shipping terms must be met.  Refer to "Shipping Policies" below.  For non-living products, returns are accepted within 15 days of purchase and must be in original condition.  Buyer is responsible for return shipping on non-living products.

Genetics Guarantee

I guarantee that you will receive the exact genetics that you paid for.  I keep very accurate records on all of my animals, which ensures you are receiving the genetics you expect.  I will provide a receipt for all purchases that includes a description of your animal.  If you purchase an animal with a non-visible gene (het), I will provide a signed genetic certificate.  This certificate will include details on the purchased animal and both of its parents.  I can provide this certificate in electronic format as well, and I keep copies of all certificates.  If you ever need a copy in the future, please contact me.

Purchasing from Mystique Reptiles

I have most of my available animals on my website, but if you don't see what you are looking for, please contact me.  I'm a small scale breeder and want to make sure you are buying exactly what you expect.  With that in mind, I do not use an automated shopping cart.  Browse through my available animals, and if you see something you like please call me.  This way we can discuss any specifics about the animal and delivery methods.  I can even Skype or Facetime with you if you'd like to see the animal in real time.

I accept all major credit cards or money transfers through PayPal (PayPal account not required).  You may also mail me a money order if you prefer.  All payments must be clear before I will ship your product or animal.

​​Shipping is a flat $60 per live animal order to the 48 Continental United States.  You may ship multiple snakes to the same address for one payment of $60.

​Payment Plans

I offer payment plans for any purchase over $300 with 20% down.  Most terms are six months or less but this may be modified for larger transactions.  The down payment is non-refundable if the payment plan conditions are not met; however, you may apply those funds toward a different purchase.

Shipping Policies

​​I work with for all live animal shipments, which are sent via Fedex priority overnight service.  Shipping is only available Monday - Thursday to the 48 Continental United States.  I will provide you with a Fedex tracking number, and you must be available to sign for the package on the first delivery attempt.  You may also choose to have your package shipped to a “Fedex Staffed” facility.  They will hold your package indoors until you pick it up.  If you select this option, you must pick up the package the same day it arrives.

I want to know that your new animal made it to you safely!  You must call me at 970-250-4447 within 3 hours of the delivery time to confirm you received the package.  I want to know that your snake is in good health, and I need to begin troubleshooting any delivery issues immediately.

I follow all packaging requirements as outlined by shipyourreptiles, and I use their insulated boxes and 40-hr heat packs (if needed).  Weather conditions may prevent me from shipping an animal, and I reserve the right to hold shipments until weather permits.  As a general rule, daytime highs in Aurora, CO and your location must be between 38-92 degrees.  At Mystique Reptiles, the animal’s health is top priority!

*Failure to follow these shipping policies will void any guarantees, refunds, or insurance policies through shipyourreptiles.  If all shipping policies are followed, I will offer a refund up to 24 hours following the delivery if it does not meet my guarantee above.  I may request pictures to identify health issues or in the case of a dead arrival.  If return shipping is necessary, Mystique Reptiles will pay the return shipping cost.

Local Pickup

I am located in Aurora, CO.  Contact me if you would like to arrange a local pickup.  Please do not checkout through my website and pay the shipping charge if you are picking it up.  I can swipe your credit card at the time of purchase.
